Literacy: Write your weekly news. Write down what you have got up to over the last week. Remember your sentences should have a capital letter at the start and full stop at the end. Read over your work to check that it makes sense.  (Your weekly new should be a page long)

Example: Ann-Marie spent an hour sorting her toys.

Music:   Have a go at I hear,think, wonder. Choose 3 songs that you like to listen to. Listen to each song sepearetely. After you have listened to your first song, in the first column write down the name of the song. In the middle column write down what you think the song is about and in the last column write down what you are curious or wonder about the song. Here is a list of some songs that you could use:

·       "Circle of Life" from The Lion King
·       "Whispers" by Usher

 you design some new creatures, based on combining two or three other animals. Don’t forget to name them. See SPHE worksheet in this week's worksheets.

Challenge: Can you create your own pictogram? Ask your family their favourite foods, you could even ring someone you are missing and ask them. Create your own pictogram with the information you gathered.

Read the story of Anansi and the Pot of Wisdom. Answer the questions aloud (no need to write them in your copy) If you had to share some wisdom with the world what would it be. Write about it or draw a picture. Ask the people at home if they have any wisdom to share.

   PE:  Have fun with spell your name workout. Spell out your full name and complete the activity listed for each letter. For a greater challenge try spelling your middle name and do each one twice. For a variety you could spell the name of your favourite character or celebrity and complete the activity. (See PE worksheet)
